Speed Record - Part 8 of 9

Notes:
1. At the start of the vid I paused the game cos it takes a few seconds for the hammer to be active. (To save time). Again - I cut out the length of the pause for viewability etc. etc. As I did twice after the Phoenix Savepoint.

2. At Kraken - You can let off some early Typhon bane shots when the Kraken first lets you go. I could have gotten onto the first tentacle quicker, I stumbled a little. I was unsure on how to use PR to break the tentacle knobs. This battle could have been a little neater.

3. Just after Kratos rides the Phoenix - I dont know if this is known, but, DURING the cutscene where Kratos is riding the Phoenix, if you keep the left controller pushed forwards and press "O" repeatedly and quickly. This causes the "slo-mo effect" to not be present when you get to the fates temple. This saves you some good time. (Unfortunately when you restart that saved game, the slo mo effect returns)

4. If was good to do the skip at the fates temple puzzle, mainly due to the fact that the old way was more complicated and more chance for things to go wrong.

5. The Fates battle - Not pleased with this, a few irritating errors (and I had no fleece to use at the start of the 3rd phase) The battle panned out differently to how I had planned. Could have been much more tidy, but Ill take it!

@poroporoa If you find a certain Urn during "Normal Play" you can then use it in "Bonus Play" and it gives you infinite magic.

Valid point, but then, maybe should have kept a score on time taken and compared it to current speed run [shen?]. I need to get GOWC. PS2 has gone to a friend since I got the PS3.

My final time was (01hr:13min:57sec APPROX). Shen's previous record was (01hr:35min:16sec APPROX).
