a remix of some footage from 3 sessions filmed within the last couple of months - playing with some time remapping and overlays in Premiere Pro CS4 - stills are mine as well, shot on my ageing Olympus E500 with a 70-300mm lens and edited in Photoshop CS5
music is by RL Burnside - Shuck Dub

  • What effect in photoshop do you use to create the smeared colors around the edges of your still photos. They are absolutely stunning How'd you do all of the edits on the photos?! Just Favorited!

  • @TomAce82 there are a number of techniques in these stills - they have a black to clear radial gradient layer with "overlay" blending mode applied (gives the fringing effect - darker in the corners), they usually have a combination of photo filters applied and then motion blur applied via a gradient mask to give the gradual blurring away from the point of interest

  • The stills are siiiick!
