  • You live on the Virgin Islands so it's not surprising you don't think coal is a problem (pollution probably gets blown away before it can substantially affect you). Come to the mainland, specifically near a big city and ingest glorious pollution every day of your life. I don't care if global warming is man caused or not. I want clean air, water etc for other reasons (my health)

  • he didn't say anything about nuclear

  • I got a song on my channel about clean coal. Check it out! Or don't. Who cares at this point, we're all going to melt soon anyway.

  • @AMilitantAgnostic Why would Al Gore have bin a bad president?

  • @Merplov If you think either of them was a viable choice you're an idiot.

  • If Gore had been president in 2000, things would have worked out much better. For example the foreign policy, he would have been much more active in enviromental issues than Bush, Bush didnt do much about enviromental issues at all.

  • Al Gore was elected president in 2000. Bush stole the election.

  • What Al Bore fails to take into account when he says more CO2 is produced per unit of energy with coal is the benefits when the coal byproducts are turned into usable raw materials and usable chemicals. For instance, the sulfur dioxide is turned into either sulfuric acid or gypsum. The slag is used in asphalt, in place of sand for sandblast media, and in concrete. The fly ash replaces volcanic ash used to make concrete.

So does Al Bore not think these things reduce coal's negative impacts?

  • If the pollution is scrubbed out and only C02 remains, Bingo, then it's clean coal.

This asshole is such a bloody liar it makes me sick. He is making a fortune from Global Warming/Climate Change bullshit.

  • Nuclear energy is viable; the only draw back is that plant designs are going to have to deal with radio-toxicity issues? getting 10-50 years worth of commercial electricity, but having a waste product that must be safely stored for 1000+ years is no trivial matter. But nukes can be built anywhere; generally you want them safe and cost effective is part of an operation cycle. Geothermal and advanced synthetic fuels should be on this list.

  • Wow. He is super cerial.
