Wow, I got chills watching this! I am familiar with Arronosky's pitch and this pretty much sums up what he had in mind. I love the cast, Cranston is a perfect Gordon, and Chris Cooper and Jay Mohr as Loeb and Flass is just fantastic.

I read about Aronofsky's take on Batman if he ever made it, and even though it was drastically different to the point of being scary and not Batman, it still would have been very interesting from the filmmaking mind of Darren. Well put together trailer as well!

I know Aronofsky was the rival to Nolan to direct Batman Begins. I hope that, once Nolan is done, Aronofsky gets the franchise. In fact I hope TDKR involves Wayne being crippled, and Azrael taking over. No one could direct an Azrael-Batman film about a man losing his mind in urban hell, like Aronofsky. Re: arms dealers, "He would find them, here, among these hulks and derelicts."

Good call on Bryan Cranston as Gordon, as he is the voice of Jim Gordon in the animated Batman: Year One. 8-)
