Tim McFadden is a glass blower, a discipline that seems to be fading away with time. But not if Tim has anything to do with it! Tim has a studio in Baltimore, MD where he does more than create works of art. Tim teaches glass blowing, hosts glass blowing parties and demonstrations, and trains interns. As an alumnus of Salisbury University, Tim was able to open his studio with the help of the Perdue School of Business Bernstein Business Plan Award he received. It was our great pleasure to spend the day with Tim and watch him create, as we think you will see here!

  • On my fourth year of high school devoted to pottery. Like he said, you get addicted. Don't be afraid to work hard for something, guys, it can be so rewarding.

  • I need someone to make me a glass Harp...of course the strings would not be glass ...I want to be able to play this harp. If you or someone you know could make this glass harp, contact me at greatwhitegodess@aol.com

  • I'm a salisbury glass student now and love it!

  • Great video! Do you know anyone who can teach me this in Harford county??

  • See, now the thing is I imagine that you would have to be really good at art? I was terrible at art, but have always been fascinated by glassblowing. [ as well as stained glass art]. Where I live, there is just no opportunity whatsoever to try these wonderful subjects.

  • This is one of my favorite videos yet of glass blowing. I Just started a couple of months ago with a class and now when money allows private lessons, and I'm in love! I enjoy watching you work well listening to you tell how you found something you love to do and love to share with others.

  • Very Nice... Thanks

  • I really liked this video. Now I have to find somewhere near to my home to get glassblowing classes.

    Keep-up the good work :)
