Note: Your subwoofer may severly modulate the engine rumble...turn down subwoofer for more accurate engine sound. This vehicle is a 2001 GMC 3500HD Stakebed, 8.1L Vortec, Auto, Cruise Control (rarely found in these trucks but a must have for me), 14' Body and diamond plate steel floor and 1,600 lbs rail lift gate, 19.5" Alcoa Wheels, 15,000 lbs GVWR -- For Sale

Factory Powertrain: 8.1L Vortec, 4L80E heavy duty automatic transmission with overdrive; 4.63 Dana Rear Dually (2,000 RRMs at 60 mph)

Factory Cruise Control, Tilt Wheel, Air Conditioning, Cloth Seats, Am/Fm Cassette, SL Trim packaging

19.5" Genuine Alcoa Wheels (provides zero runnout, gives great look and smoothest ride w/o freeway shimmy as with factory steel wheels), 4-Wheel Disc Brakes with Anit-lock

Dual Fuel Tanks: 22 gallons front, 18 gallons rear (runs on regular 87 gas without pinging)

Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, 15,000 lbs (Ford F450 or Dodge 4500 equivalents)

My Fuel Mileage: 7-10 mpg depending on driving

Other Equipment: Rail lift-gate rated at 1,600 lbs

Recent Service/Upgrades: Replaced Hydrabooster (old one was leaking) and booster lines; Replaced front and rear brake calipers and pads; Replaced alternator; Converted single battery system to dual batteries (same as diesel engine configuration); Cat-back hi-performance exhaust system with chome tip angled out behined right rear wheel. Use Synthetic motor oil and regulary change ATF to maintain flawless transmission operation; Replaced rear axle fluid with hi-grade GL5 85-140w (rear axle in great condition and does not whine). K&N Air Filter System; All tires in good condition.

This truck has the largest of three factory wheelbase options at 183.5" and supports a 14' body. Mounted is a heavy-duty14' steel stake body with two added leafs on each side in rear for the extra weight and load capacity. The floor is not warpped but nice and flat should last forever, we're talkin heavy duty 3/16" steel diamond plate not cheap, thin stuff over warpped wood.

Same as Chevrolet 3500 HD or C3500 HD
