Baise Moi (Condensed)

Baise Moi (Rape Me) was legally rated R18+ in Australia and legally shown at least once in a cinema.

It was subsequently rated "RC" (Refused Classification) which effectively bans the sale, distribution and exhibition of the film in Australia. It was available in both unrated VHS and DVD format in selected adult outlets in New South Wales and it is from this "R" rated version the compilation (concentrating on the theme and tone and purpose of the movie) has been extracted.

It is a film that has merit but was sensationalised as an "exploitation" movie by the press and subsequently banned by conservative forces who I believe had never seen the film and had no intention of doing so.
