What does that mean? Can you tell me the specific case you're referring to?

the supreme court has upheld that they have no obligation to protect you

I don't think I've ever responded to a comment of yours without you being online to respond back. Type much? Got your laptop strapped on?

You've got that right.

Speaking of "whine and cry" isn't it time to change your diaper poolboy? You get so crabby!

Who needs the police when we have poolboy? Just call poolboy up and he'll whine and cry in the comment boxes. That'll solve everything!

Foolman isn't fox worthy, huh? He's the lone wolf.

I'm sorry, poolman. I didn't mean to make you angry.

What the fuck? Why are you talking about providing 24-hour protection? We're not talking about body guards. Why are you pretending I was talking about extremes when I made a straightforward generalization about what police do?

"The police have a responsibility to protect people and uphold justice."
You're right about the justice part, but the police have no legal obligation to protect anyone. They can respond to a call for help, but they can't provide everyone with on-the-spot security. Even the most feverish cop supporter must know that the cops can't be everywhere. A crime victim has no legal right to sue the police for failing to protect him from crime--and he can't ask for his money back.
