  • What does that mean? Can you tell me the specific case you're referring to?

  • the supreme court has upheld that they have no obligation to protect you

  • I don't think I've ever responded to a comment of yours without you being online to respond back. Type much? Got your laptop strapped on?

  • You've got that right.

  • Speaking of "whine and cry" isn't it time to change your diaper poolboy? You get so crabby!

  • Who needs the police when we have poolboy? Just call poolboy up and he'll whine and cry in the comment boxes. That'll solve everything!

  • Foolman isn't fox worthy, huh? He's the lone wolf.

  • I'm sorry, poolman. I didn't mean to make you angry.

  • What the fuck? Why are you talking about providing 24-hour protection? We're not talking about body guards. Why are you pretending I was talking about extremes when I made a straightforward generalization about what police do?

  • "The police have a responsibility to protect people and uphold justice."

You're right about the justice part, but the police have no legal obligation to protect anyone. They can respond to a call for help, but they can't provide everyone with on-the-spot security. Even the most feverish cop supporter must know that the cops can't be everywhere. A crime victim has no legal right to sue the police for failing to protect him from crime--and he can't ask for his money back.
