You know you have a serious problem when you are being told by David Lynch to "get real".

Lynch stuck in the past? He shot his last movie on a hand-held digital camcorder. What he means is that you can't get a cinematic experience on a phone, and he's right. You see the moving images, but it's not the same experience as watching on a bigger screen. I can see a thumbnail of a Caravaggio masterpiece on the internet, but only a much larger representation of the image will reveal its full quality.

Well the irony there is that it's hard to go to a theater anymore without freaking idiots whipping out their phone every 3 minutes so they can check their ever-so-important text messages. As we all know by now, a cell phone is basically equivalent to a flashlight in a theater which is fucking annoying. This is why i refuse to go to theaters anymore. Pay 9 bucks to be annoyed by dumbasses....no thanks. Hopefully someday theaters will get their shit together.

Film is film bro whether you watch it on a phone or a 10,000 inch widescreen TV it doesnt matter much as long as you seen it and experienced it your good

Not to mention sound as well. On a phone you'll either listen to it on either the horrible quality phone speaker or shitty earbuds, both of which lack the dynamic range necessary to appreciate the depth and multi-layered effect of the music and sound design used in film.You could always listen to it on big headphones or plug it into your stereo system, but at that point why bother struggling to watch it on your tiny phone?
