The March for Equal Rights (1st half). This hastily-organized, grassroots pre-rally & march successfully drew thousands of Washington, DC area gay men, lesbians and allies to the National Mall. They wanted to voice their support for the right to legal same-sex marriages, and against the passage of California's Proposition 8 which effectively repealed the new, state-recognized unions. A Join the Impact event.
As a pro-gay marriage Catholic, I'm a conservative who sees, like most conservatives, that the only REAL conservative in the race is Barack Obama. He has our backs, whereas Rick, Mitt, Newt, and Ron work 24-7 for the 400 wealthiest Americans. Thank the good Lord for Barack Obama.

Yeah religious folks may have won this battle - but not the war! Gay people WILL be treated with respect by straight people otherwise there will be Hell to pay - literally. Just ask the homophobic pieces of shit that had their buildings of worship vandalized what happens to them if they mess with gay people again.
A small consolation to all of this is that gay couples can marry each other in Massachusetts. Unfortunately, the marriage is not federally recognized thanks to religious zealots.
