Btw, KOL aren't the only bands that speak on the End of the world/Great Tribulation/Antichrist. 30 Seconds to mars, MGMT (surprising but read the lyrics closely), Florence + the Machine, Radiohead.
I hope you guys come to see the truth and light and turn away from the sins of the world and give your life to Christ.

This song is making a reference to the end times and the incoming New World Order under Satan. This is why he says "2000 years of chasing has taking its toll" and "I see a storm bubbling from the sea". Jesus died for the sins of humanity 2000 years ago and His Second Coming is very soon.
I don't listen to KOL anymore since i've been saved by Jesus but I'd thought come back here and tell you the meaning of the songs. The song "Crawl" has the same story too.

I fell in love with this band to this song on a True Blood closing credits from season 4 I think, then looked them up & bought all their albums. I'm really addicted BAD, especially this song & Crawl is the other, I can play them repeatedly without ever even imagining getting tired of hearing them. Don't want the cure either, lol. Wow.

With the moon i run, far from the carnage of the fiery sun, has to be one of the best lines i have heard in a song.
