JOHN HOLMES "WONDERLAND" IN HIS OWN WORDS (PART ONE)

In part one of this authentic 1980s audiotape, John talks candidly about meeting the Wonderland Gang. He describes "Bounty Hunter" David Lind and explains why the robbery of L.A. nightclub owner Ed Nash was planned. This interview was recorded in a restaurant on a tape cassette so expect some background noise.

Hey Laurie....based on the Tina Turner song at the beginning, this tape is no earlier then Sept 1984.....Do u know the exact date?, where this is? and who John is talking to???.....Best Wishes from NYC!

@Bucs211 John made a series of audio tapes between 1984 and 1988 about his entire life. He was talking with a ghost writer on the audio tapes. They did this at various restaurants thoughout the Los Angeles area, hince the banging of the dishes and correspondence with waitresses during the interviews. I copyrited all the audio tapes, this is only a small part of the audio.

Fascinating discussion. Laurie, is this the "interrogation" that was portrayed in the film 'Wonderland'? That was the part where Val Kilmer speaks of John's version of events towards the end of the movie...

@mavericksquid Nothing about The Wonderland Movie was factual. It was a Hollywood based script, nothing more. The audio tapes were actually offered to the production of this film but they didn't want them and as I was told "They already had their story/script", which ended up being nothing more than the "story" of two scorned women once in John's life.

As an OAPP prevention and post counselor... There are many factors to contracting HIV. First thing is your own immune system. Secondly is the person's viral load. Then there are your risk factors in behavior. If you took a scale from one to ten, 10 being the highes risk. Anything with blood would be a high risk, then anal intercourse and down the line. It might surprise you to know there are many positive/negative couples. Education is everything.

@laurieholmes1 - sounds like it would be a good read, i might pick it up. didn't suggest that he did the murders, just inquiring if there was truth to the scene where he showed up blood soaked, admitting to being at the scene. Did he ever confide in you and tell you that he witnessed those murders? What did he tell you about it, like how did he word it? If you chose not to reply I'll understand. Just really great to be able to openly talk about this with someone so very close to the man himself.

@laurieholmes1 Thats fine , thanks for the reply, I am curious about random stuff I come across on the net, and I saw the album cover on the the police video, and I was curious if anyone knew what record it was, thats all.
