  • @FilAmFan You shouldn't forget the gold & copper mines all run by US companies or that Dole owns almost all farm land in the Philippines, also the Philippine Armed Forces are exclusively equipped by the US & the Philippines even pay for those "antiquitities". The Philippines is a perfect example of a country run by anyone but its people: the losers of globalization & free market. Even though I like intercultural relationships, I wish for the Philippines to cut their bonds.

  • @GaolisVideoLog Central banks, e.g. Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, are run for the benefit of their 'private' owners rather than for the benefit of the people.

These 'private' banking interests (based primarily in Europe and to a lesser degree in the US) make their host governments puppets of these same 'private' banking interests.

The real purpose of a central bank is to transfer wealth from the people to the 'private' owners of that central bank. Search "central banking conspiracies."

  • @kenshinhyacent Late Reply: Difference in history books. Since the US bought the Philippines from Spain, they were not independent until 1946 according to the history books outside of the Philippines. The Phil.-Am. war, according to US history books is called "Philippine insurrection" til now, in which the US killed 10% of our people & even at one time ordered to kill all above 10 years of age. It was also the 1st time US troops used water boarding.

  • @knightslucky That is not true. While the Philippines had a better economic situation in comparisson to other Southeast Asian nation, it still was considered a third world country. DPRK was the only industrialized nation in Asia during the post-WWII era. The UN in 2010 also warned that if RP is unable to control their birth rate, the country will be where Somalia is now, by 2025. I love the Philippines also, but I won't twist the facts.

  • @FilAmFan The US never had the intention of doing so. US companies own almost all natural resources in the Philippines, the Phil. president is unable to do reforms w/o permission by its US advisors & US soldiers are til now excluded from all laws. Unlike the US China builds the train rails, tore down during US times, thus creating more efficient, environmentally friendly mass transportation. Also, China is the Philippines most important investor, next to Japan & Korea. We don't need your "help".

  • Malinformed. When was this made? How come they have no idea about precolonial Philippines or even the relationship between the philippine archipelago & Europe before the arrival of Magellan? This is complete BS. Even the American colonial time is misrepresented. I know that's not the focus here but they could've at least given propper information.
