Kubota KX36-3 And KX61-3 MiniDiggers

These two mini-diggers are working on Northampton Road, Market Harborough. The KX36-3, a 1.5 tonne machine, is fitted with a drill, as one of several fittings available. The KX61-3 is also on another video here at Youtube, being loaded onto a trailer behind a Ford 8210 Tractor.
It seems not long since men worked with pneumatic hand drills on the roads. Now these great Japanese machines have taken over. There is a problem with damage to the circulatory system, called whitefinger, associated with pneumatic hand drills - one reason these minidiggers have come to be widely used.
