Matt 24:21 "For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginningof the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be". Matt 24:30 " then the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." Notice God's word says "all the tribes of the earth"
I believe Jesus is talking to both current and future generations. Lets open Matthew chpt 24, a verse that would support the view point of future generation would be Matt 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come". And the book of Acts tells of the start of this. Lets skip to Matt 24:21 (as it might seem I'm taking it out of context) Look for yourself.
Gary points out, that there is no verse in the bible that pertains to the thousand year reign at the 1:46 mark of this video. But, in revelation 20:v4 it clearly states there will be one (at the end of the verse) "And they lived and reigned with Christ fo a thousand years."

From my personal studies as a christian, I believe it is yet in the future.
