The Interact Communication Module is part of SpeechGear's Compadre suite of instant translation products. This module supports both "Manual" and "Automatic" translation and transcription. Automatic mode is used primarily for translation of continuous speech, such as a seminar, a teacher in a classroom, a radio talk show, or a religious service. The Manual mode is used when the transcription needs to be verified for precise accuracy prior to the translation being generated. An example is in a medical setting. This video demonstrates the use of both of these translation modes, showing you how to use them and comparing their respective advantages.
