OLPC (http://laptop.org) is an non-profit foundation creating
educational opportunities for the world's poorest children by providing each
child with a rugged, low-cost, low-power, connected laptop . To learn
more about why laptops? please watch:

John Lennon believed in the power of imagination to change the physical world. OLPC is working on that goal by giving a powerful educational
tool to the worlds poorest children.

Thanks to support from Yoko Ono, this is our latest PSA: a message created from footage of John Lennon about the power each one of us has to change the world.

  • This is disconcerting... like Fred Astaire dancing with a vacuum or John Wayne selling beer... sure its a good cause, but why not have a living musician promote it? This leaves a sour taste.

  • RIP JOHN WINSTON LENNON!!!:'(

  • doesnt sound like Lennon, well kind of but naaa suckssssss

  • Almost all these comments Im reading, make me facepalm so hard; I give myself a concussion...

  • I support the goal, but that is NOT John Lennon speaking. There were no laptops in 1980 when he was killed.

  • This commercial disturbs me.

  • Oh please That's not him. = ='

  • throughout the centuries africa has been the bane of intelect. a stagnant collection of what are barely to be considered civilizations. Majority of this is to be contributed to their lack of diversity in intelegence and communication, not amongst themselves but others. If africa is to resile, this massive step will contribute greatly. Not to feed a man for a day, but to teach him how to fish.

  • Okay so you want to rather put Britney Spears?
