Burning of Zozobra 2009 Fort Marcy Park Santa Fe NM Kiwanas Part Two

The burning of Zozobra (Old Man Gloom) in 2009 at Fort Marcy Park in Santa Fe New Mexico. Date: September 10th, 2009. This year they shot Zozobra and his head burned forever before the rest of the body collapsed and finally went up. He may have been frequenting Cheeks too because at one point his crotch was seriously on fire. Sorry the beginning is so blurry. The red lighting messed with my camera;s focus abilities until the fireworks went off.

when i saw this for the first time in like 2000 or 2001, the body was so soaked with gasoline, it blew up and some of the crowd had to run for cover. good shit~!
