Kamots (gray wolf) and Chemukh (black wolf) were once alpha male and alpha female of the captive Sawtooth Pack. Lovers, best friends. But Kamots is overthrown by males in the pack and outcast. Soon after, he is found dead in the enclosure. Chemukh, his loyal mate, the Cinderella of wolves who nearly ended up as the omega, escaped from the enclosure and--even after extensive searches--was never seen again.
