Android 4.1.1 boot loop - dexopt

while(true){ wait() } ; boot();

Android (including JB) has a bug within dexopt. dexopt is used to verify and optimize dalvik bytecode. Using an hand crafted Android app (apk file) we can abuse this bug in order to put dexopt into an endless loop. This also happens when the device boots. So Android won't finish booting.
Unless you have root access via ADB or via a custom recovery image you are not able to get around this :-/

google is informed about this issue. hope they will fix this soon..
more information will be released under http://www.dexlabs.org/blog when there is a fix available..
