Our music video for Dntel's (This Is) The Dream of Evan + Chan. Dntel's first collaboration with Ben Gibbard of Death Cab, the two would soon combine to become The Postal Service. It's almost official- we didn't get any money, and it was never on MTV, but The Postal Service used it as the video backdrop on their world tour, so that's about as official as it gets, we'd say!

I'm thinking that the 'ringing, ringing' part would sound really cool in stereo speakers, with the speakers alternating for each word.

Yeah- you are probably listening on laptop or other not so great computer speakers. If you play it on your car you car hear what Jimmy is doing. He cuts up sounds, uses a technique called "glitch" and he is using a lot of distortion so it sounds like 'bad quality" but its really supposed to sound like that.
