This video shows the capability to include 3D scenes into standard websites using the XML3D technology developed at DFKI/Saarland University. Shadows, reflections and refractions are calculated in realtime using realtime raytracing technology. There is interaction shown between 2D content and 3D content. I feel a little decieved... I just went on wikipedia for Venice article no 3D there. I know it's just a demo, now I can see C:/Users/vruser/... in the browser statusbar, but the name of this video is misleading
