i look at it like this, the people who molested me were caught and punished, sure i think they should have gone to prison for longer but, if i fill my life with hate and anger then i'm punishing myself i'm poisoning my life not theirs, i have "forgiven" them and now i'm free to be happy, they dont have any hold or influence over me anymore. You're right forgivness doesn't take away the crime and they should be punished in modern society that is not my role, others can do that better than me.

@alr8ty the 'mistakes in Judaism' were commands from God. Stoning disobedient children to death, annihilating other races because the believed in a 'foreign god' etc were direct commands from God. The same God (trinitarian Jesus) is worshiped in contemparary Christanity. Besises annihliating other races is nothing comapred to His intention to torture billions of souls in the blistering falmes of an eternal hell - with no hope of parole or mercy - now theres a source to draw inspiration from...

@alr8ty Bro thats like saying "because your Asian your not human" Jesus was born and raised as a Torah-observant Jew. Christianity is the result of Judaism. It has been said that Judaism does not need Christianity to explain its existence, but Christianity needs Judaism both to explain its existence and what it believes. Christianity and Judaism come from the same God. The horrors of the OT are nothing in comparison with the horrors of the endless torture of men that God has in store though

why does Geoff draw inspiration from the Bible? did God Himself "not repay evil for evil" when He flooded the world and murdered all men except Noah and his family? Did God demonstrate compassion when he instructed Israel to destroy all nations before them - women and children? He may be a good fighter by he is a poor theologin.. just another dude making money by taking advantage of the emotionality of sensitive people .. his story is ispiring by for gods sake leave religion out of it .. geez
