Rangitoto, Come On Auckland, Get Up There

It's funny how we know have probably visited more far away places that we have the amazing and inspiring destinations in our own backyard!

Rangitoto island is an easy 30 minute Fullers ferry ride from downtown Auckland. The landscape, scenery and history is amazing and after a comfortable hour walk along marked tracks, you'll suddenly find yourself at the summit seeing the whole of the Auckland region from one of its highest points, with 360 degree views of the Hauraki Gulf Islands, The West coast Waitakare Ranges and more. It is breath taking.

So rather than talk about doing this trip sometime in the future (that never comes!), why not do it now and tick it off the long list of fantastic experiences you should be having in your own backyard - Come On Auckland, Get Up There!
