  • Yea Im also curious as to which prgram is in use

  • I'm not sure what program he is using to make the videos. But it might he may be using iLife or he could be using quicktime.

  • The tablet you use has nothing to do with the software. As long as you have a program that has the ability to create different layers (Photoshop for example), you'll be able to use them. The difference between the Cintiq and the Bamboo, besides the price tag, is that with the Cintiq, you draw directly on the screen, unlike the Bamboo. I personally have an Intuos4. I used to have an old Graphire 3.

  • Anyone who can draw without reference lines is either looking off of a picture, has a very artistic mind and/or practices enough to be able to spot-check everything by eye. Either way, it's pretty darn impressive.

  • Awesome stuff..

As for other stuff said here. You could draw awesome stuff in just MS Paint. It's not the program OR the tablet that makes someone good. It's the amount of work they've put into learning to draw, and practicing what they've learned.

  • K what i think since i have a wacom bamboo table and the cintiq is that cintiq saves you time and you can make your base drawings them remake them since you use layers and you can soon in and out save you time and paper. for the bamboo table is more for painting it takes longer to do lineart.

  • You can run CS4 on a G5 with a Cintiq and all the custom brushes and plug ins in the world and still create sh*t. 90% of a good image is down to the artist.

That said I think it's less talent and more practice as nobody picks up a pencil for the first time and can draw. Sure someone with drive and aptitude might create something mind blowing but most could create good art with enough application.

  • you noobs seriously need to STOP thinking that the SOFTWARE makes a damn difference, cauz it DOESNT. Its called practice, and talent.

  • Iron Man!!!

  • Oh yeah Hawk is pretty damn awesome.

  • Looks like Alias Sketchbook Pro.

  • I think he means what program was used to capture the video.
