First song from the fourth album by 70's soft-rock band Bread.
Lyrics:
Freedom - keep walkin'
Keep on your toes and don't stop talkin' 'bout
Freedom - get goin'
Lots to be learned and lots to be knowin' 'bout
People - gotta reach 'em
Sit 'em right down and then you gotta teach 'em 'bout
Freedom - gotta win it
Gotta put yourself smack dab in it
Hey tomorrow
Now don't you go away
'Cause freedom
Just might come your way
Freedom - keep tryin'
People stay alive and people keep dyin' for
Freedom - so don't lose it
Ya gotta understand ya just can't abuse it
Freedom - get movin'
Never gonna stop till everybody's groovin' on
Love for - one another
Callin' some friend and callin' some brother
Hey tomorrow
You're not so far away
Mother freedom
We'll know you well someday.
This sounds like The James Gang.

Aww, I wish they made both soft rock and hard rock songs. :(
Then they wouldn't have broken up.

I am shocked that there are so few hits on this band. People are just not aware.

And they said Bread couldn't rock--they just never did much of these songs, because James Griffin wanted to go more in this direction, but David Gates apparently didn't! They made great music despite the friction! BobbyK

@MetallicBill I still listen to KQ streamed over the 'net. Gotta' love Tommy and the gang from the KQ Morning Show!

Play the hell out of this -- daily theme music, usually NOT heard on radio (might give sheeple ideas)
