Freestyle skating played a huge part in modern skateboarding. Without freestyle (among others) we might still be carving around on flat ground like figure skaters. Now look at what we're doing on our boards. Anyone hating on this guy obviously doesn't know their skate history or appreciate the different ways people can ride a board. Just because it's not mainstream doesn't mean it sucks. Besides, it takes incredible board control to do half the tricks in this video.
