Documentary charting Naples 1943-48, the suffering of the population and the re-emergence of the Camorra. No other city in Italy suffered so badly as Napoli. Allied bombing killed 20,000 Neapolitans and made 100,000 homeless. The retreating Germans committed sabotage and killed many more as the Neapolitans rose to drive them out of the city.
Did the Allied occupation contribute to the problems the city face today? Love it or hate it this is a city you cannot ignore. Like the author of ths documentary I love this city

Prostitutes were everywhere and i just didn't feel welcome even though i am Italian american. The one thing that struck a cod with me was that retrurants were selling pizza they had displayed in the windows days earlier.... P.S. dont go to naples!
