  • I believe this was Uncle Jimmy's last Bean Blossom appearance. He loved entertaining. Music was his passion. He had a wonderful talent. They even teach the "Jimmy Martin Run" in guitar classes at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He had great fans.

  • This song has everything right

  • I love Jimmy Martin's singing. One of the all-time greats of bluegrass. We sing this song a lot.

  • I think the best was when JD Crowe and Paul williams were with Jimmy. That band in that era was in my opinion the best Bluegrass band ever. God Bless Jimmy

  • There were two banjo players that Jimmy loved: JD CROWE and BILL EMERSON....He said.."THEY HAVE THE TIMING AND THE TONE"..Everybody else was just OK according to Jimmy...He thought Earl was OK..But JD and Bill were it for Jimmy...

  • Jimmy has always been my favourite bluegrass singer. I love the way his banjo players always play with that distinctive style unique to his band. I wish his "big country" was on here.

  • LOL

  • Just great. One of my heroes, THANKYOU A LOT!

  • I can't even imagine what it would've like to play with him.

  • This is probably the best song ever.
