Keep in mind that in this video everyone was fairly badly geared. The last time I went to Kara we killed Prince in like 1 minute.

what def raiting is uncrushable 520?

It's not a particular amount of defense. You need 490 defense to be uncrittable by boss level mobs. To be uncrushable you need to have 102.4% combined miss/dodge/parry/block.

However, the term uncrushable becomes irrelevant after patch 3.0.2, since crushing blows from raid bosses get removed.

if you were a paladin, you would also add 30% to your block when adding this all up due to holy shield always being up

Although taking off gear would also lower my spelldamage, hence making it a bit counterproductive in another area. Also, eating a crush on Attumen is still only like 2k damage. It doesn't help, infact... HS is a pretty mana-efficient source of threat. That may also be counterproductive.

Now, I just use the Exalted Black Temple trinket and the Al'ar trinket. They increase threat by enough that being somewhat mana starved isn't really a problem.

Worst case scenario- stop refreshing HS, eat a crush and put it back on. That's what i do on pretty much all of Kara but Prince and Nightbane.

ya once u get uncrit/uncrush on a pally it sorta sucks cuz then u avoid so much damage..i recently regeared still uncrit/uncrush but i got my block rate to 25% unbuffed so that i take more damage instead of dodge/parrying it more..it really helps on mana too

got my first kara on sat and im using these vids to see how to tank it
