Fantastic swinging version of the tune by Cab Calloway and his Orchestra with solos by Walter Thomas (flute), De Priest Wheeler (trombone) and Eddie Barefield (clarinet).

  • Dude, their primitive recording technology couldn't keep up with the mad mouth movements of this scattin' fool! Not enough frames for that hep cat's jive.

  • @cyclonefury27 Has nothing to do with "primitive recording". This was actually "voiced over".

  • This is actually from 1937! It's from the 1937 short called "Hi-De-Ho", not to be confused with the 1934 short called "Cab Calloway's Hi-De-Ho"! :)

  • Thank you - I have amended the title.
