DScraft - a Homebrew Based on classic minecraft for the Nintendo DS

Firstly, ALL credit goes to 'Mbmax' on the GBATemp.net forums, for making the video. I've just offered to put it onto Youtube for him & he gave me permission to do so (proof: http://gbatemp.net/t300847-minecraft-ds-in-3d?view=findpost&p=3847813)

This video shows 'DSCraft' in action.
It's based on 'Classic Minecraft'
This means there is :-------
NO 'Survival' mode
NO Multiplayer
NO MOBS (e.g. 'creepers')
NO 'Crafting'
NO 'Redstone'

DSCraft is a Homebrew game for the Nintendo DS - so you'll need a flashcard to run it.

It works on ALL DS game systems (DSPhat/DSLite/DSi/3DS) as long as your flashcard works on the system...

It is NOT an official port from the manufacturer of the original Minecraft (although they do know of it's existence), & this is the first release of the port so it still a little buggy

Things to note about DSCraft download(s):
- In the DSCraft Download you only need the NDS and the DSCraft folder on your flashcard.
- Depending on the version you need to use, the DSCraft folder has to be either on the ROOT (the FAT version) or the same directory as the NDS (NitroFS version)
- The other programs in the DSCraft downloads are... a random map generator (mapgen.rar) and a Minecraft to DSCraft map converter (mc2ds.rar)
Note that I have not used the mc2ds program, so don't know how reliable it is. I would guess that there are limitations to the size it converts due to DS limits
- 'Worlds' folder contains extra example map(s) - copy these into 'dscraft\worlds\' folder

What if i just put the game on the SD card of my 3DS?Would it work?How would i be able to access it?

DS homebrew can only work on DS Flashcards in a 'DSLite/DSPhat' type mode.

The SD card slot (along with the camera etc) are used in a DSi/3DS specific mode which flashcards (& the programming language used to make homebrew) cannot access

@sagjig2 If your Flashcard works on a 3DS - then Yes it will work on a 3DS, but it will NOT use any of the 3DS special hardware like the faster processor/extra memory etc since most flashcards can only run in a DSlite/Phat mode

(DSi/3DS extended mode has NOT been properly hacked)

@DreadfulDeadMiner Technically, yes - it should work HOWEVER there are a LOT of 'R4' cards that are 'clones' of the original R4, which can have 'homebrew compatibility problems'

The DSCraft 'Wiki' [see description for link] has a (very small) list of cards that have been tested & shown which version worked on which card

@Alex1115alex you said 6 bucks vs. 40 bucks but the acecard 2.i costs only 13-14 bucks and you have to buy a R4 for every new DS (R4, R4i FW 1.3.0, R4 FW 1.4.0 and R4 1.4.1-1.4.3, R4 3DS). The most R4 cards are very cheap and they can broke very fast (I had 2 R4is).

@Alex1115alex the acecard 2.i doesn't cost 40 bucks and the dstwo has a very powerful onboard CPU! If you buy a r4 for 6 bucks but you must buy a new one because the old is brogen, you must pay 12 bucks. Than, you need a new for 8 bucks that works with the 3DS -> 20 bucks. It costs 13-14 bucks.
