Normal engine startup procedure on a Boeing 777-300ER's two GE90-115B engines.

  • What's with the swept turbofan blades? Is that a new blade design paradigm or something?

    The swept design allows each blade to draw in more air than the conventional straight edge blade.

  • @anurek123 230,000 lbs. of thrust total on the 777. Just ONE of these engines will fly an entire 747. Truly awesome machines.

  • I just sat on a 777-300er recently, the startup was very noisy
