The Starside Elementary exhibit was a hit at the 2009 KEEC conference with a reading house for children made of recycled cereal boxes and a ball made of recycled tinfoil that has grown to nearly the size of an elementary school-aged child! Jessica Dain, Paula Henderson and Elyzabeth Navarre explain the exhibit and the presentation they gave at the conference.

  • @xVIPxMODDERZ same

  • Mrs. Navarre choked my little sister when she was in 2nd grade!

  • Whether you believe in global warming or not, using our planet as a waste dump, and having no regard for the quality of air we breathe or water that we drink should be Everyone's concern. Teach children while they're still young enough to form good environmentally conscientious habits. Ignorance can be a dangerous thing. Respect our planet. It's our home. I think Starside Elementary school is on the right track with their Going Green program and I give them a big thumb's up.
