The guy's lines and bike placement are not always that great, but his speeds were pretty sedate as were the lean angles. As long as remembers he has more cornering in hand, he should avoid disaster. OTOH, this is about as fast as he should be riding, He should slow down through built up areas. Also, stay out of the other lane unless passing. If some one turns in to the opposite lane from a side road with traffic, they probably aren't looking right thinking there is some guy coming on a bike.

how would you suggest this bike to a somewhat experienced rider?. someone who has ridden but hasnt owned a bike

first off, you got a Monster, one must respect; that is a great bike!
BUT dude, you got to work on your driving (which you hopefully did the last three years)! The lines in the corner are SO off! You probably knew the road and corners, but if you didn't, you would have had big problems with getting out of the corners alive and having enough spare room! Your overtaking is, to say the least: risky ... what u are doing is really dangerous! 4 ur own sake: google "motorcycle apex"
