Hey man, the series is really shaping up, but I couldn't help but notice a mistake. The civ page lists all neighbors, and that red line meant that the goblins would be hostile, not just that they are present. Notice how the Elf civ didn't display? You probably won't run into any Elves, just gobbos, humans, and of course dorfs. Good luck on your fort!

D/Ling Dwarf Fortress now,.. I am so terrified. I have heard this game will rape you so hard in the ass. and that's AFTER you've mastered playing it.

i got the df_28_181_40c download a while back, is that one of the first ones there is? can anyone tell me anything bout this file? it would be very helpful, thanks!

@shimrra The newest version (0.31.25) highlights suitable areas with green X's, which flash on and off until you search again or hide them. You can move around and look at all of the suitable areas that were found in a much greater detail

But in the version designed for the tutorial, no.

is there a way to scroll though regions areas the search found instead of just the first candidate? my first option is kind of rubbish for recourses...
