We also recommend that you check out some of Richie Kotsen's solo work featuring Atma Anur on drums (if you don't know by now, Atma has 100 albums under his belt). We have a Billy Sheehan interview coming soon and you can hear more of him in Talas, the first David Lee Roth CD and his new project with Stu Hamm and Jeff Berlin (BX3). Richie's new albums are available on his site - send him a message and tell him we'd like to see some more live shows soon!

I played Billy's bass once and could not believe how high the action was. He has incredible hand strength to play the way that he does on a setup like that. He was a very nice guy too.

I watch this over and over again. Words of compassion to the drummer. Keeping up with the Billy isn't easy work. There is one guy who keeps him easily - Pat Torpey is his name.

Richie is the shit, man. It's great to hear him sing this tune. He has so much soul.

Sounds alittle like the drummer had a hard time keeping up with Billy. IMHO.
