This is the Ms. Pacman replica stick from "Tornado Terry's" http://www.tornadoterrys.com/surplus.htm

I love this thing! It is true to the original arcade in the way it feels and performs. I recommend this 4-way even for other games as well that use 4-way as the main controller, not just Ms. Pacman.

  • im trying to get one of this, very good joystick.

  • I also have one installed on my new Green Invader vertical arcade. (Video Response above). Love it, love it, love it.

  • What is the difference between a normal 4-way and this?

  • There are many 4-ways out there. I have tried many and this (in my opinion) felt the most accurate.

So you'll need to define what you mean by a "normal 4-way".

The price is also right. This runs for about $20 give or take.

  • why would i want this over a regular unmodified happ stick? I'm just curious because I already have two for my build.

  • The key is the restrictor plate that is built in. I have used Happ's 'Super' joysticks in 4-way mode and they don't even come close to this joystick. The Happs 4/8 way joys achieve 4-way by flipping over an actuator underneath. But nothing can ever come close to an actual restrictor (piece of plastic underneath that limits the joystick's movement so that diagonals are not registered.

  • This one feels JUST like the Ms. Pacman joystick found on the arcade version. The restrictor plate on it was built with this in mind. The added bonus is that it works great with other 4-way games as well.

  • Cool thanks... I really appreciate you replies..

  • I believe it has both. I will PM you with a pic. There are two slots to choose from for the e-clip. They are exactly 3/4" apart from each other (wood is 3/4") so I'm sure it can be adjusted for a metal panel as well. I'm guessing that depending on which you order, it will come pre-configured with the e-clip in that slot? You'll have to ask Terry to be sure.

  • Does the longer shaft have several E-Clip slits to make it usable on Metal AND wood panels? Terry's site says that it should be settable for both, but constantly asks to specify "wood" or "metal" panel if ordering.
