Trumpeter Joan Hinde in Duet with Ken Dodd

The UK's foremost female trumpeter, Joan Hinde makes a surprise appearance as the Lady Mayoress of Knotty Ash and plays a seemingly impromptu duet with the great Ken Dodd as they perform, "The Very Thought of You." She has been appearing on British TV and radio since the 1940's and was the first female trumpeter to broadcast the Haydn Trumpet Concerto.

Dodd's a God.

When he and Sykes are gone, an enormous chunk of British comic culture dies.

Ken always gives 4 times your moneysworth and Sykes helped make some of the greats with his writing.

Whatever happened to comedians who could get laughs out of three generations at the same time?
