Here is a shot of another 2002 Yamaha SX Viper 700 that we are parting out. This sled hit a tree, busted the bulkhead and raduis rods. Still ran great though and would start on the first pull usually, had 7882 miles on it.

  • thats a shit load of miles was it ever rebiult

  • @Slyder1212

Nope, I have seen original un-rebuilt Vipers go as many as 30,000 miles on a stock motor. That motor is long since gone now. Pulled it apart and parted it all out.

  • running of two cylinders maybe even one

  • @SeanIngham It was running on all of them, but not proper by any means since the pipe was not even connected to the exhaust manifold! This sled is long since parted out now and the motor was all perfectly fine once pulled down!

  • how about the right trailing arm, is it wrecked?

  • @MrSlyman691 All the right side arms I have are gone. I only have one left side still from the 4 Vipers I parted out this past winter.

  • @stephengenge Buy a new one then. Tracks aren't expensive. $500 for a good 1.5" would be nice on a viper.

  • damn i really need a new track :(

  • @stephengenge, Was like brand new and it is going on one of my own sleds.

  • hows the track?
