As the train passes, it is almost like a moment of collective reflection for the people there. It is a pause. A moment of silence. A silence that confirms the external workings of the bigger world amongst the people, and its awareness is felt by all. They must make that way for the train as they are reminded this is not solely there 'arena'. The train is symbolic of a larger world. They are apart of it. They are the ones who fill the crevasses, the gaps.
