Nick's P.O.V

I walked down the school hallway angry as hell. I had just finished my detention and it went on forever..Nothing in the world could put a smile on my face,after that tortue in that little tiny room, with hardly any space to breathe. I just felt like taking all my stuff and running home. This day had been long...I walked to my locker and collected all my books and put them in my bag just as the bell sounded to go home. "YES"! i yelled. Getting a few strange looks from people...I made my way for the door when Courtney approached me. Oh Great. [please note sarcasm]



Normal P.O.V

Courtney: Hey Nick, how was your day today baby.

Nick: Crap court *trying to get past her*

Courtney: Aww Nicky, wanna come over my house? You know, take your mind off things.

Nick: No thanks Courtney, i would really like to get home.

Courtney: You sure

Nick: Listen Courtney...Im sorry if i led you on. But im really not interested.

Courtney: *voice gets softer* Oh, well i better let you go. *walks off wiping her eyes*



Nick P.O.V

Ugh perfect, i made a girl cry. I felt pretty bad. But Courtney had been after me since like 3rd grade. My life had gone completley downhill ever since my brother Kevin passed away last year. The happy little Nick that people used to see in the old photos changed. I basically never smile, laugh, go out with friends. Nothing! I was really close to Kevin and it was a hard time and still is. I just need someone who can cheer me up. You know be a friend..or maybe even more than that.
