@YWCH1291 cold muscles should not be stretched. A little warm up first will prevent injury.

do not stretch cold muscles. They must be warmed up first like toffee, the warmer it is the easier it takes being pulled. Even a few minutes of cardio can be made to feel like bellydance. then you will not injure a cold muscle.

this is a perfect, no-nonsense belly dance warmup. i love it! this will be my usual at-home warmup for a looooong time. :)
