I watch this and think about when I was that babys age. My parents had an American Cocker Spaniel like Lady when I was born, and a year later that Cocker Spaniel had puppies.Mom would put me next to the puppies and I would play with them.We kept one andnow she is 14 and I am 15.Sadly she is getting old and she has lessthan a year to live.I have already lost a best friend die in a car crash, I cant fathom loosing my closest and longest friend.Cockers will always have a special place in my heart.

@Vocaloidluver02 Yes, because when Aunt Sarah came over to babysit it moments later in the film, she called it her nephew. Shortly before that, they changed the bassinet to a blue crib. Maybe that was when they found out it was a boy after all!

:) This is such a precious scene. Here's something funny: I used to sing songs like this to my dog when he was a puppy. (His favorite lullaby was "Rock-a-Bye Baby".) Like a human baby, he loved it!

If you introduce them early enough, dogs will bond marvelously with a baby. My brother and sister in law had their first child a year ago, and I still watch the video they emailed me of their daugther crawling around the living-room with their dachsund chasing chasing after her, licking her and bumping her playfully and the little girl giggling and laughing the whole time-so obvious they love each other already.
