How to change the cabin air filter in a Toyota Tundra (2008 Model shown)
Toyota really made it easy to change the cabin air filter on the new Tundra. The cabin air filter cleans the air that you breathe and also keeps contaminants like leaves, bugs, dirt, etc. from getting into the blower motor. If you cab smells funny when you turn on the fan, you might have a cabin air filter that is plugged up with stuff and maybe even some rotting material stuck in it. quick and easy to remove and replace.

  • A dealership in southern California wanted to charge me $89.00 to change my filter. I watched this video... Went to Auto zone. $17.00 bucks later done. Thanks for saving me all that cash brother!

  • @gonzalezir It's insane how some of those dealership charges can go. I think they lose money on some repairs, but make up for it in the bread-and-butter jobs like disc brakes, tranny fluid service, coolant changes, and of course $89 air filter changes.....YIKES. That's the kind of thing that really makes me hate the "Stealership".

  • Nice vid very easy to understand and very detail! Can u make one on the door panel?

  • @lapd1989 I haven't had a reason to go into the door panel. Did you have something break behind it?

  • Excelent I had every thing done on my tundra except for ac filter. I didn´t know where it was, I do now, going to clean mine and see if the ac works a little colder, can´t stand this summer its too hot!!

  • I wish all instructional videos were this good. thanks!

  • Hey thanks for taking the time to post this. You just made my life a whole lot easier. Appreciate it!

  • @lapd1989

Door panels are easy. Front door. Remove plastic panel at side mirror (pops off). Then remove the cover behind the inside door (opening) handle and in the door "Pull" pocket to access screws. Door panel can now pop off plastic clips. Rear is the same, less mirror cover of course.

  • Good vid thanks for the clip

  • Awesome. Thanks
