ONLINE AUTISM LEVEL TEST (just a guideline):
http://psychology-tools.com/autism-spectrum-quotient/

My daughter Immy was diagnosed with Autism when she was 18 months old. My wife and I had been working for some years in Education supporting students with behavioural problems.

Key signs of Autism:

Repetititive rituals (piling, lining up,circling of toys)

Lack of or difficulty experiencing empathy...reading other peoples emotions

Difficulty in joining in social activities eg games with social rules

Taking things literally (SARCHASM and METAPHORS to be avoided)

Obsessiveness

Extreme reaction to noises, smells,or certain colours

Extreme discomfort and adverse reaction to changes in routine

There may be a genetic factor to Autism. It is probable that I am on The Austistic Spectrum. I intend to arrange a test.

It has been documented that people with Autism are more likely to experience depression, anxiety and panic disorders in adulthood.

Aspergers Syndrome is high functioning Autism. I would argue that this can actually be worse because the person is engaging in a constant battle to instill ORDER in their lives and and in there own minds

Experts have concluded that people on the Autistic Spectrum are no more or less likely to be geniuses (The Rainman effect) than those who don't have this condition

However I would argue that some aspects of Autistic behaviour can be harnessed with positive outcomes

  • " hello your fat" oh bless lol :)

  • @ilovemoviesuk Ha! The freedom to be honest. We lose it a bit as we get older. She is quite diplomatic most of the time.

  • She seems aware of how she works and so does you as parents. Thats a good start, couse living with autism is not easy at all and gets harder as you go thru teenage and adulthood. but a good ground base makes alot of differense . wish you all the best!

  • @FatherToaSon Thanks! Thats very kind....and it is getting difficult. She has changed even since I made this clip. I take it you have experience living with Autism? I wish you well too
