Hurricane Smith - "Oh Babe, What Would You Say?"

Never saw a proper music video or lip-synch for this song, and that's a shame. I like this performance, though I'd prefer the ballroom dance feel of the original hit version to this Dixieland-flav...

Could barely recognize this live version, I'll reflect on my original copy on 45RPM I bought at Woolworths in 1973....for 66cents! Love this song...In 1973 I was driving a 1957 Oldsmobile Super 88 2dr in Rosemist pink. I was 18 years old and life was good. HOLY 8 TRACK TAPE PLAYER!!

...wonder why Johnny didn't mention Smith's work with Pink Floyd?

I think mentioning the Beatles is more appropriate because Pink Floyd weren't that big in 1972 until the DSOTM came out. But it would've helped Norman's publicity a little more if Johnny mentioned them.

Loved his drumming on "Remember a Day". No offense to Nick Mason, of course.

I think this performance was in 1972, when Pink Floyd wasn't quite a qidely known band yet.

I was about six years old when this song was release. Reminds me of getting ready to go to infant school.
