Michael Vick Suspended For Life ! NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell

I grew up in Norfolk Va which is a town ovr from where he grew up, we were rival football teams. I was excited to see him make it and be as big as he was.

I always try to support people from the area and I want the best for him and his brother.

Honestly it's going to be a hard road but I hope he comes back and wins. That will be the best thing. Someone will pick him up and he can still play, people will root for him and he can make a great success story.

I've seen african americans go against vick too for what he did,but generally I agree it has been more whites protesting him. I hate to think of this being a racial issue,because for me it isn't but there are still many ignorant people out there that take a situation like this and use it as a racial divide which is a shame.

I hate what he did, but I don't hate him.

Actually he did do something wrong, hence why he went to jail. In fact in the state he committed the crimes in it is a felony. He killed several dogs with his bare hands, drowned some of them too. Anyone who does that is mentally ill, that isn't an opinion it's a fact.

i dont think he deserves a second chance. he had more than one chance already if you think about it...he had one chance for every dog he killed to stop. if you look at it from the nfls approach they want players to represent the league.. if they let him back into the league (in my mind) they are supporting him and dog fights in general..

To all the hipocrits who believe Michael Vick is the devil because he killed dogs that were dying from fighting, look at where your double cheese burgers or hot dogs come from and how the farmers slaughter the helpless animals to harvest their flesh. I don't think the loser should ever be allowed to play, because of the fact that if he was a normal person, he'd probably be in jail for YEARS, but since he's not, he gets to come back in and OUT of jail. And he did what he did for money, which he obviously doesn't need. If he was on MY team, I'd be BEYOND pissed.

I agree with you, PETA is comprised of crazy and lunatic people; however, do those poor dogs get a second chance as they were torn to shreds and electrocuted? No, I didn't think so. I think people are misinterpreting Vick's desperation for sorrow. And, unfortunately, people are still killing dogs through illegal fighting rings, but I believe that the law is currently doing something about it. For me, its about setting real standards in the NFL, which it has failed to implement in the past years.
