Stephen Morris,What a fckn dude man.Thats what you call a drummer.
-
Three people have heard it all before and can't hear it anymore.
-
haha how much does Hooky want to kill Bernard here?
-
@jamesjnr67 But then *you* couldn't have said it.
-
@lithead you could have just said what a cracking song

Stephen Morris was a demon on the drums. The verses are sung in Sumner's lower range, an almost conversational series of notes and inflections. But the chorus! It's in his higher range and sounds like a cry out of the depths of despair.
The bleakness of the world is still evident in the lyrics, but the pulse beat and danceability of the tune demand that you live and move. New Order: You can't hang yourself when you're dancing.
