@4jaimeavalos fun stuff huh

usually you'd go to mwtc if your battalion or whatever level of command decides you should have the training; I'd figure mostly for those units getting ready to go to Afghanistan. This is my reserve unit doing our annual training there. You can request mwtc as a duty station, but that's another story...and I'm running out of room to explain it. Google it :)

i love how the rotors are moving really slow (seemingly)

@usmcandrew16 this is the last part in a marine's training , 2 to 4 weeks at this place then straight to afghanistan

@monosol1 its huge gigantic strip , like 5 or 6 c130s could roll down it , its not a little landing pad
What is keeping the dust from browning out the helicopter around the concrete landing pad?

@monosol1 generally the worst part is the "downwash" where the rotor wash initially kicks everything up from off the ground, but honestly that's the worst part...then it's just more constant dust/sand/etc that's easier to deal with than giant gusts. to answer your question though, it's because of that temp runway that the dust doesn't cloud out the bird.
